Friday before last, I went to see David Sedaris read at the Center for the Performing Arts in Denver. At the signing table, we chatted a bit about writing, and he offered me some water for my empty beer cup. At first I declined, but then I thought, “David Sedaris just offered to pour me some Fiji water. How can I possibly say no?”
