My Water Poem
By Ayla
I am water
And I come from different things on the earth
I look in the mirror and see my waves flowing by
In my dreams, I imagine more waters besides me
I am little drops
I cry when I fall out of the sky
But nourishing mother earth makes me laugh
My love for flowing free feels like nothing can stop me
I am liquid gold
It is unfair I’m not everywhere
I feel angry when I’m not helping others
If I could change one thing, it would be the chemicals killing me
I am life on earth.
